Lebenslauf

Mario Liebensteiner ist Juniorprofessor (Tenure Track auf W3) für Volkswirtschaftslehre, insbesondere Energiemärkte und Energiesystemanalyse, an der FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. Seine Forschungsinteressen liegen in der Analyse und Regulierung von Energiemärkten und Umweltpolitik. Zuvor arbeitete Mario Liebensteiner als Postdoc- und Praedoc-Forscher an der Technischen Universität Kaiserslautern und der Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (WU). Er absolvierte sein Doktorat in Economics an der WU Wien und sein Diplomstudium in Wirtschaftswissenschaften an der JKU Linz und der City University of Hong Kong. Mario Liebensteiner ist Mitglied des Expertengremiums „Energiesysteme der Zukunft“ (ESYS) der deutschen Wissenschaftsakademien.
