Das Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung stellt sich vor
Das Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung (IWF) deckt den klassischen Kanon volkswirtschaftlicher Themen ab, wobei ein starker Fokus in Lehre und Forschung auf die Anwendung empirischer bzw. experimenteller Methoden gelegt wird. Die Anwendungsfelder reichen von der Gesundheitsökonomie, der Energieforschung, wirtschaftspolitischen Fragestellungen bis hin zur Arbeitsmarktforschung. Verstärkt wird das Institut durch Zweitmitglieder aus dem benachbarten Institut für Arbeitsmarkt und Sozialökonomik und dem Department Mathematik.
